Etiquette Training Institute Launches New Certification to Prepare Etiquette and Professionalism Leaders in Schools

DALLAS, Texas — October 2026 — The Etiquette Training Institute (ETI) will launch its new Educator Excellence Etiquette Certification™ during the 2026 National Etiquette Conference, October 30–31 at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas.
Designed for teachers, administrators, and education professionals, the 12-module certification prepares participants to become trained resources for etiquette, professionalism, communication, civility, and social confidence within their school communities.
Participants who co
mplete the program will earn the credential Certified School Etiquette & Professionalism Leader™.
“Educators teach much more than academic content,” said Lady Trenette Wilson, founder of the Etiquette Training Institute. “Students are watching how adults communicate, handle conflict, demonstrate respect, and represent themselves. We want to prepare educators who can not only model those standards, but help strengthen them throughout the school community.”
The certification moves beyond traditional perceptions of etiquette to address the professional and interpersonal skills that influence today's school environments. Training includes professional conduct, communication, everyday etiquette, workplace civility, professional presence, dining etiquette, parent and family interactions, leadership and school representation.
The inaugural certification experience begins Friday, October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during ETI's National Etiquette Conference. Participants will continue through the complete 12-module certification program following the initial training.
The certification also creates a pathway for broader implementation. Once an educator is certified, schools interested in implementing ETI's proprietary etiquette education program may pursue separate institutional licensing, allowing the trained educator to help lead the program on campus.
“Our goal is not simply to teach which fork to use,” Wilson said. “We are preparing educators to help students develop the communication, confidence, professionalism and social skills they will carry into college, careers and life.”
Online certification opportunities are also planned to make the program accessible to educators beyond Dallas.
